Frequently Asked Questions

Quick Answers to Common Questions

Everything buyers, engineers, and procurement teams in Canada and worldwide ask us most — answered clearly and honestly by our engineering team.

Products

WXABK manufactures welding rotators from 100kg to 1,000 tonnes. For loads above 200T we provide custom engineering with reinforced frames, dual-drive units, and bespoke control systems tailored to your workpiece and production requirements.

A standard welding rotator has fixed wheel spacing and is ideal for a consistent pipe or vessel diameter. An adjustable welding rotator allows the wheel spacing to be changed to accommodate different workpiece diameters — making it far more versatile for job shops or fabricators that work with multiple pipe sizes.
All WXABK rotators and positioners are welding-process agnostic. They are compatible with MIG/MAG, TIG, SAW (Submerged Arc Welding), FCAW, and plasma welding. We also offer optional synchronisation with Lincoln Electric, Miller, and ESAB power sources.
Our H-beam welding line includes: Automatic H-Beam Assembly Machines, Shot Blasting Machines, H-Beam Flange Straightening Machines, and Gantry Welding Machines. These can be purchased individually or as a complete turnkey H-beam production line.
Yes. We offer a dedicated Wind Tower Welding Line featuring specialized rotators and manipulator systems designed specifically for welding conical and cylindrical wind turbine tower shells and flanges. Our systems handle the large diameters and heavy loads typical in wind tower fabrication.
Yes. WXABK rotators and positioners integrate with FANUC, ABB, KUKA, and other major robot brands. We provide synchronised motion control outputs and can tailor the interface to your robot controller's communication protocol.

Shipping & Delivery

Yes. Canada is one of our primary export markets. We regularly ship to all major Canadian provinces. All machines are supplied with full export documentation, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and marine insurance. Both FCL and LCL sea freight options are available, as well as air freight for urgent orders.

Standard lead time is 6–12 weeks depending on the machine type and specification. Custom-engineered machines or complete production lines may require 12–20 weeks. Your confirmed purchase order triggers immediate production scheduling and you will receive weekly factory progress updates.

We offer sea freight (FCL/LCL) from Shanghai and Ningbo ports, air freight for smaller components or urgent orders, and road freight within mainland Asia. For Canadian clients, sea freight to Vancouver, Montreal, or Halifax is the most common and cost-effective option.

Yes. Marine insurance and professional export crating are included as standard in all CIF (Cost Insurance Freight) quotes. We can also quote on FOB (Free On Board) terms if you prefer to arrange your own freight and insurance.

Yes. Every machine undergoes a full Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and load run-off in our facility before shipping. You will receive a complete inspection report, test videos, and photos. Clients are also welcome to visit our factory during the FAT process.

Import duties vary depending on the HS code of the specific machine. Most industrial welding equipment falls under low or zero duty categories under CETA (Canada-EU Trade Agreement equivalent tariff schedules) or general MFN rates. We recommend consulting a Canadian customs broker for your specific product — we are happy to provide the HS codes for all our machines.

Certifications & Standards

All WXABK machines are manufactured under ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Machines exported to Europe carry CE marking per the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. We also comply with ASME pressure vessel standards, AWS D1.1 structural welding code, and all units are SGS third-party inspected and RoHS compliant.

Yes. All machines exported to Europe are CE-marked and supplied with a full technical file, Declaration of Conformity, and risk assessment per EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. For the Canadian market, our machines comply with applicable CSA and OSHA-equivalent safety standards. Contact us for specific compliance documentation for your province.

Yes. SGS third-party inspection is available as standard on all exports. We can also accommodate BV (Bureau Veritas), TÜV, or Lloyd's Register inspections upon request. Inspection costs are included in most standard orders — confirm with our sales team during quoting.

Yes. Every machine ships with: operator manual (English + Chinese, other languages available), electrical schematic drawings, mechanical assembly drawings, parts list with part numbers, FAT inspection report, and CE Declaration of Conformity where applicable. Digital copies are also provided via email.

Custom Engineering

Absolutely. Our engineering team specialises in turnkey welding automation systems — including robotic integration, conveyor systems, custom jigs and fixtures, and full production line layout. We can design, manufacture, and commission the entire cell from a single contract with one point of responsibility.

Yes. WXABK rotators and positioners are welding-process agnostic and can integrate with any MIG, TIG, SAW, or FCAW power source brand. We offer optional speed synchronisation with Lincoln Electric, Miller, ESAB, Fronius, and other major brands.

Ideally: workpiece type (pipe, vessel, H-beam, etc.), maximum workpiece weight and dimensions, required rotation speed range, welding process type, production volume per shift, existing equipment to integrate with, floor space available, and power supply specifications. The more detail you share, the more accurate our engineering proposal will be.
No minimum order quantity. We engineer single custom units as well as complete production lines. Each project — regardless of size — receives the same level of engineering attention, factory testing, and after-sales support.
Custom-engineered machines typically require 10–20 weeks from confirmed order to shipment, depending on complexity. Simple customisations (non-standard capacity, modified frame dimensions) add 2–4 weeks. Full turnkey welding cells or production lines may require 16–24 weeks. A confirmed timeline is provided at the quotation stage.

Support & Warranty

All WXABK machines carry a 24-month warranty covering all mechanical and electrical components against manufacturing defects. During the warranty period, replacement parts are dispatched free of charge within 48 hours. Extended warranty options are available — ask our sales team for details.

Yes. On-site commissioning and operator training are included in the machine price for most product lines. Our engineers will travel to your facility to install, test, and train your operators. Remote commissioning via video call is also available for clients who prefer that option. Training manuals are provided in English and French.
We maintain a comprehensive spare parts inventory for all current and legacy WXABK machines. Parts are dispatched within 48 hours globally. For Canadian clients, we can also pre-position a spare parts kit at your facility at the time of machine delivery to minimise future downtime.
Yes. Remote diagnostics are included as standard. Our machines can be equipped with remote monitoring modules that allow our engineers to diagnose electrical faults, control system issues, and performance anomalies without needing to travel to your site — minimising downtime significantly.
After the warranty period, we offer annual maintenance contracts, priority spare parts supply, remote support retainers, and scheduled on-site inspection visits through our dealer network. Our machines are engineered for decades of use — long-term support is a core part of our offering, not an afterthought.
